  • I am often asked, “What should I feed my puppy? What do you recommend?” I have always researched dog food because having our dogs and puppies on the best for their lifelong health and wellness has always been my first priority.
  • We had been feeding Victor Dog Food but then we were introduced to Fromm Dog Food. We were so impressed by the quality and high standards of this dog food and the amazing testimonials from the customers (human and dog alike) that we decided to switch to Fromm. Our mission at Precious Pomskies is to improve the quality of the Pomsky and offer our families beautiful, healthy, and sweet-tempered puppies that they can enjoy for years to come and feeding these foods and supplements are the first step at achieving that!
  • Did you know that our pets genetically can live to be 20 years old, but the current average is 13-15? While many factors help the longevity of life – environment, health care, etc. nutrition is one of the most important factors.
  • Many of the ingredients in mainstream pet food today result in shorter life spans of our pet’s due to the ingredients that cause stress on their kidney and liver functions which include; wheat, corn, and soy. These are also major allergens to our pets. By-products such as chicken heads, duck bills, fish heads, chicken and turkey feet, bones and diseased & contaminated slaughterhouse meat can also be included in our pet foods! BHA, BHT, which harms our dog’s liver and kidneys and are known carcinogens. As well as Ethoxyquin, which is used to stabilize rubber can also be used. All these chemicals are added to provide a longer shelf life, for months, even possibly a couple of years.
  • • For dogs in their prime – Helps improve the luster of their skin and coat while providing the necessary antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, mineral and more to sustain their body’s peak performance during the prime of their lives.
  • • For older dogs – Helps provide the nutritional requirements to help them live long, happy, and productive lives in their senior years.
  • NuVet Plus is an immune support supplement with a precise balance of vitamins, minerals, omegas, amino acids and antioxidants. That’s why it works so well through all three stages of a pet’s life.

Extended Board and Train Program

We have offered this privately for the past couple of years but are making it an official part of our puppy program! We understand that bringing your new puppy home can be a stressful time and an adjustment. We do our utmost to prepare your puppy for its new home life by socializing your puppy daily with dogs, cats, kids, toddlers and desensitizing them to everyday loud noises that can be scary for a new puppy. In this training course we will work daily with your puppy ensuring one on one training and send you video/photo updates of your puppies’ progress throughout the training course you choose. This is an additional cost of $1,000 per week. This covers all costs with feeding, training and routine vet care your puppy may need depending how long they stay. We offer up to 6 weeks of training.

Week 1: During this 1 week extended stay your puppy will be working on his/her crate training, going potty on command outside every 2 hours during the day and working on the commands sit, come and kennel up.

Week 2: During week 2 we will focus on all of the things from week 1 and add in overnight crate training, loose leash training for recall and not biting.

Week 3 and beyond: During week 3 and beyond we will focus on all of the things from week 1 and 2 and add vehicle outings to work on your puppies’ social and travel skills. Puppies can’t be on the ground until fully vaccinated so your puppy will be in our secure puppy carrier and held to see new people, scents and noises while in the safety of my arms.
